SM-Reports Online is the markbook solution that ICT support staff appreciate. It is a zero install solution. There is absolutely no software to install, either on the school network servers, or on the teacher client machines. With nothing to install or maintain software updates and support issues are in the past. Point your teachers to the reports address in their preferred web browser and SM-Reports Online “just works”.
Without requiring any browser plugin, Java or other propriety software, SM-Reports Online is a technical support dream. Designed from the beginning not to require cookies, this can run on almost any browser, even if you are locked into an older browser, or teachers at home have not updated their computer to recent operating systems.
Users can edit their login and real name and change their own password. If a password is forgotten the reset password facility can be used by teachers to get a fresh password emailed to them. ICT staff and administrators never need to help staff log into SM-Reports Online.
Minimal setup
Import existing SM-Reports data and go
Use the File, Database, Zip up command in your existing SM-Reports and import your teacher names and passwords and other school information. Teachers then have full control over their passwords and no longer need to ask the SM-Reports Administrator for a password reset.
